Warmer & Drier Tuesday, Wednesday; Rain & Wet Snow Later This Week

After a chilly and rainy day Monday, scattered showers will wrap up Monday night and skies partially clear. Sunshine and clouds mixed on Tuesday with more sun than not. Temperatures will be milder, in the low to mid-60s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and warm, with an isolated shower possible later in the day. A slow-moving storm will be strengthening and slowing down as it moves into the area Wednesday night. It will be pulling moisture in from the Gulf of Mexico AND the Atlantic Ocean, leading to a good soaking rain for the area on Thursday.

With Thursday’s rain, wet snow will be mixing in for higher elevations later in the day and continues overnight. A little wet snow may mix in for the Mohawk Valley as well; but will switch back to rain Friday morning. Snow may continue in the higher hills.
