Friday will feature plentiful sunshine and warm, humid conditions with highs in the 80s. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible Friday and again on Saturday with plenty of dry time in between.
A few scattered showers and storms are possible Sunday and Sunday night. A cold front is expected to cross NY on Monday leading to more showers. Slightly cooler after Monday with highs in the 70s.
We’ll continue to closely monitor Tropical Storm Ida which is expected to become a hurricane once it moves into the Gulf of Mexico. The remnants of the hurricane could have big impacts on our forecast next week should it’s track shift north into NY.
