As storms stay parked this week, Central New York stays dry.
Monday, May 18, 2020 (UTICA) – The jet stream sits well to our north allowing for warmer days and setting the stage for a drier week. Plentiful sunshine is expected nearly all week with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s.
Tropical Storm Arthur spins off the mid-Atlantic coast and another storm system sits parked over the Midwest and Tennessee Valley. While Arthur will move slowly southeast, not affecting our weather, the midwest storm has the potential to bring just a few scattered showers Memorial Day weekend. We’ll be watching this potential closely; it’s all we’ve got.
