Warm again Thursday, cooling off for the weekend

Thursday will be another warm fall day in Central New York in between a warm front and a cold front; temperatures will likely reach the low 70s in the afternoon. Though much of Thursday may end up dry, some scattered showers are possible, especially in the evening.

The cold front passes through Thursday night into Friday morning. In its wake, temperatures will struggle to rise on Friday with cold air pouring in. Highs will only be in the 40s to low 50s at best.

The weekend ahead will be chilly, falling into the 30s at night with highs in the low 50s. Some light, scattered showers possible.
