Unseasonably Cool Wednesday, Rain Turning to Snow Thursday

Tuesday, Nov. 5 (UTICA) – Aside from a spotty rain or snow shower Tuesday night and Wednesday will be quiet and chilly. Highs on Wednesday are in the low 40s but wind chills will keep it feeling like the mid-30s at best.

Some rain and snow showers start to move in Wednesday night and pick up Thursday morning, becoming all rain midday then turning over to all snow Thursday afternoon and evening as cooler air pours in from the northwest.

Generally, 1-6″ of snow can be expected across our area by 8 AM Friday. Lake effect snow on Friday will bring several more inches of snow to localized spots throughout the day.

A second push of cold air arrives Friday keeping temperatures in the 20s to low 30s. A quiet day Saturday with highs in the mid-30s. Some rain and snow showers come through Sunday into Sunday night thanks to another cold front.
