Temperatures in Central New York will be running 5°+ above normal this week as summer rages on. Tuesday a thunderstorm or two is possible with more widespread showers and storms expected on Wednesday. High temperatures are in the 70s and low 80s.

Occasional spotty showers are possible toward the end of the week with warmer-than-normal temperatures continuing. By the weekend, we could be setting some new high-temperature records for mid-September. Long-term climate predictions indicate that unseasonably warm weather will continue into early fall which officially begins on Wednesday, September 22nd.
