Turning fall-like this week, Ida remnants pass by Wednesday

Temperatures drop to around 60° Monday night and humidity slowly drops in the wake of a passing cold front. Still warm -though not as hot-Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s and partly cloudy skies.

The remnants of Hurricane Ida bring clouds and a chance of rain to the area on Wednesday. Rain is possible mainly south of the Mohawk Valley and the heaviest rain looks to miss our region to the south. However, a slight shift in Ida’s track could mean rain for more of CNY; check back for updates.

The remainder of the week looks dry and mild with low humidity and cooler temperatures; nights in the 50s and afternoons in the lower 70s.
