Tropical Storm Fay to Pass by Friday Night, Cold Front Saturday

Thursday, July 9, 2020 (UTICA) – Friday starts sunny but clouds will be increasing in the afternoon as Tropical Storm Fay moves inland. Scattered showers move in later in the day and if Fay tracks far enough west, heavy rain will move through late Friday night/early Saturday morning.

Once Fay pulls away, we’ll be left with scattered showers and thunderstorms off and on for Saturday. If we get enough sunshine midday, some storms will be strong to severe Saturday afternoon & evening. Slightly cooler air settles in for the second half of the weekend with high temperatures in the mid-80s.
