Thursday’s rain followed by lake effect snow into Friday


A cold front moves through NY on Thursday, bringing rain to the area followed by a blast of cold air. Lake effect snow is expected to kick on Thursday night and continue into Friday. With relatively warm temperatures, wet & heavy snow is expected.

A cold and windy day for Central New York on Friday with lake effect snow ongoing and possibly some rain mixing in in the valleys as temperatures rise. Flurries eventually end Friday night as the pressure rises, leaving us with a dry day on Saturday.
