Windy Wednesday with Strong Thunderstorms; Quieter, Cooler Thursday

Weather

Thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday and some will be strong to severe. Damaging wind gusts are the greatest concern. All of Central New York is under a wind advisory from 10AM until 8PM Wednesday. Winds will be blowing at 15-30mph with gusts near 50mph possible.

Thursday will be quieter with just a small chance of an isolated, lake-effect rain shower in the morning then sunshine in the afternoon. Otherwise, a windy and cool fall day. Temperatures then gradually warm heading into the weekend. 70s by Saturday!
