Strong cold front Saturday ushers in delayed fall weather

Showers and strong thunderstorms are likely on Saturday as a strong cold front passes through NY. Damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours are expected, along with falling temperatures later in the day.

Cool, crisp air will flow into the region on Sunday leading to lake effect rain showers and mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will top out in the mid-50s and another chilly day is expected Monday with frost possible for some Monday night.

What we’re watching for next week:
– Frosty nights
– Full moon
