Snow turning to rain is expected Saturday and some sleet is also possible during the transition. Rain showers, breezy southerly winds, and temperatures in the mid-40s on Saturday afternoon will aid in rapid snowmelt.
Temperatures will again warm into the 40s on Sunday. Another round of scattered rain showers is expected in the afternoon and a brief period of freezing rain is not out of the question.
Temperatures on Monday will reach their peak early in the day, plummeting in the afternoon. Some lake effect snow is possible. Arctic air in place makes for a cold day Tuesday but temperatures return to the 40s on Wednesday.
