Unseasonably warm weather continues on Wednesday with temperatures reaching the upper 60s and low 70s in the afternoon, likely setting some new high-temperature records once again for mid-October. A few widely scattered showers are possible Wednesday as a storm system passes to the north.
Thursday and Friday will be on the cloudier side, but still mild with highs in the 70s. Quiet conditions with a very small chance of a sprinkle or two both days.
Showers are likely on Saturday then fall finally arrives on Sunday. Cool, crisp air will flow into the region on Sunday leading to lake effect clouds and maybe a few rain showers. Temperatures will be near normal, highs around 60° and nights in the 40s.
