Monday, Nov. 4 (UTICA) – Clouds will keep us in the low 40s Monday night and we’ll warm up to around 50° Tuesday afternoon which is typical for early November. Scattered showers expected Tuesday then some lake-effect snow possible Tuesday night.
A high-pressure system keeps weather quiet on Wednesday and temperatures will struggle to warm beyond 40°. Another cold day Thursday with some rain/snow showers possible before turning over to all snow Thursday night.
The timing and exact track of that strong storm have yet to be ironed out but the possibility of accumulating snow in CNY is looking more and more likely.
Temperatures Thursday night drop into the mid-20s and will struggle to break the freezing point on Friday afternoon. Below-average temperatures with highs in the mid-30s to low 40s continue through Veteran’s Day and beyond.
