The remnants of Hurricane Delta are passing through Monday night and at the same time, a cold front approaches from the west. The two will bring showers to Central New York Monday night and Tuesday. Temperatures during this time will remain in the 50s.
Clearing starts Tuesday evening, leaving us with a clear and cool night. Sunshine expected Wednesday as temperatures warm into the lower 60s, which is normal for mid-October. Temperatures will peak on Thursday, reaching the mid-70s in the Mohawk Valley.
A cold front then brings another round of showers Thursday night into Friday and pulls in a much cooler airmass for Friday and the weekend.
