Showers and Thunderstorms Possible Wednesday; Humidity on the Rise

Wednesday starts off quiet but some scattered showers and thunderstorms will move in from the south during the afternoon and continue into the night. Showers continue on Thursday with periods of heavy rain possible. This storm system will be tapping into moisture from the Gulf of Mexico.

Humidity will be ramping up later in the week, feeling muggy by Thursday and uncomfortably humid by the weekend.

Temperatures are in the 70s for the remainder of the workweek, then 80s and 90s for the weekend. A heatwave is expected to take us into next week with highs in the 90s and muggy conditions.
