Record-setting Heat Continues, Showers Move in Veterans Day

Weather

After a record-breaking weekend, more high temperature records are being set early this week as a dry streak continues. Temperatures on Tuesday are once again expected to rise into the lower 70s making it the warmest November 10th on record.

The dry streak finally comes to an end on Wednesday (Veterans Day) as a slow-moving cold front brings scattered showers through Upstate NY. Despite the showers, it will still be an unusually warm day in 60s to around 70 degrees. Humidity will be up as well but gets knocked back down Wednesday night.

Temperatures return to normal on Thursday as cool, dry air filters in. Highs are in the low-mid 50s Thursday and Friday, only mid-40s on Saturday. Another round of showers is expected on Sunday.
