Thursday, Oct. 17 (UTICA) – Scattered showers Thursday evening will start to taper off overnight. An isolated shower still possible first thing Friday but drying out by midday. Despite the rain ending, we stay cloudy and cool with highs only in the upper 40s to around 50°.
Clearing will begin Friday evening and clear skies Friday night will allow our temperatures to plummet down to the low 30s (& upper 20s in some spots). A frosty start to the weekend but temperatures start to moderate; upper 50s Saturday and low 60s on Sunday.
Weather will remain quiet until a slow-moving cold front brings showers sometime in the Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. The timing of the showers is still highly uncertain. Temperatures next week look seasonable; upper 50s & low 60s.
