Quiet Weekend, Rain & Warmer Temps Early Next Week

Snowmelt + steady rain = possible flooding Mon & Tues 12/9-12/10

Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 (UTICA) – As Friday’s Alberta clipper pulls away things will turn quieter for the weekend. A little lake effect snow is possible Friday night into Saturday morning. Accumulations will generally be an inch or less.

Drying out for Saturday afternoon with gradual clearing but temperatures stay below 30° & drop into the teens Saturday night. More clouds roll in Sunday as temperatures begin to moderate; highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Rain moves in Monday morning and continues throughout the day and into the night. Showers become more scattered into Tuesday. Temperatures will start off in the mid to upper 40s Tuesday then fall off later in the day as a cold front pushes through. As the precipitation winds down late Tuesday we may see a change to a wintry mix or snow before it ends.

Temperatures for the rest of the week will be chilly with highs in the mid-20s to low 30s. Lake effect snow possible Wednesday.
