Quiet Weather Pattern Setting Up, Gradual Warming Trend Begins

Mainly sunny days ahead, temps back into the 80s for the weekend.

Wednesday, August 5, 2020 (UTICA) – After the heavy rains of Tropical Storm Isaías, a quieter weather pattern sets up for the remainder of the week. Wednesday night will feature fog in the valleys which may be dense in spots. Otherwise, cooling off nicely into the mid 50s overnight.

Thursday will be dry and mild with very low humidity and just a light westerly breeze if any. Sunshine continues Friday as temperatures warm back into the 80s. Both Friday and Saturday there will be a small chance for a few isolated showers, mainly south of Rte. 20. Otherwise, sunny and quiet.

The warming trend continues into early next week with our next best chance for showers on Tuesday (8/5).
