Wednesday, Oct. 23rd (UTICA) – Quiet, mild weather continues on Thursday; a mainly dry day but a few spotty showers will again be possible north of the Thruway, same as we saw on Wednesday.
Clouds thicken up for Friday, a cooler day with highs in the low 50s. The occasional light shower will be possible into Friday evening then drying out Friday night.
Saturday will be a quiet, dry day with clouds thickening up later in the day. Rain moves in Saturday night and continues into Sunday morning then giving way to scattered showers in the afternoon before drying out Sunday night.
We’ll see quiet, seasonable weather on Monday with highs around 60°. Weather becomes more unsettled for Tuesday and Wednesday, a chance of showers both days.
Looking ahead: A cold blast may be on the horizon for next week but the timing of when that cold air actually arrives is highly uncertain. If it arrives earlier in the week then showers on Wednesday and Thursday could include some snow. If the cold air doesn’t arrive until later in the week it will be too warm for flakes. Check back for updates as we get closer.
