A picture-perfect fall day is expected on Tuesday in Central New York as temperatures warm well into the 60s. A little breezy at times, but dry with plentiful sunshine.
Thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday and parts of Central New York are in a marginal risk zone for severe storms. Damaging wind gusts are the greatest concern with any storms that do become severe.
Thursday will be quieter with just a small chance of an isolated, lake-effect rain shower. Otherwise, a windy and cool fall day. Temperatures then gradually warm heading into the weekend.
