More mild days ahead, pattern shift by the end of the week

Temperatures are largely back to normal for early August on Wednesday; topping out in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Later in the day, an isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible north of the Thruway. Most places will see a completely dry day. Thursday is expected to be a very similar day; plentiful sunshine and temperatures reaching the low 80s.

Friday, the pattern shifts and heat humidity climb. Feeling much more summer-like this weekend with a chance of thunderstorms both days.
