CENTRAL NEW YORK (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – A cold but sunny start is expected on Wednesday with increasing clouds in the afternoon. A warm front brings the next round of showers to the area as early as Wednesday evening but most of the rain will fall during the night Wednesday night.
Scattered showers linger on Thursday and a few thunderstorms could also develop in the afternoon. Friday will be much warmer with highs in the mid-80s then we’re up to a high of 90° on Saturday, more than 20° above average for this time of year.
