Monday, Oct. 28 (UTICA) – Temperatures on Monday ran 5-10° above average for late October and this warm-ish trend will continue through Thursday. Mainly a dry period Tuesday and Wednesday; just a very small chance for a spotty shower Tuesday night and Wednesday.
A storm moves in on Halloween and though the day looks mainly dry, rain picks up in the evening and continues overnight. Some scattered showers linger into the first half of the day on Friday.
Friday is expected to be a very windy day as the storm system slides east. Winds will be out of the west at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40+ mph. Colder air will be filtering keeping temperatures no higher than the 40s. The weekend will be chilly as well, highs in the mid to upper 40s and lows around freezing.
