Lake effect snow Monday night followed by quiet few days

Lake effect snow is expected Monday night in Central New York, coming down in bursts from a disorganized band that will shift south and clear the area by morning.

A quiet, cold day is expected on Tuesday followed by another frigid night. Wednesday features dry weather and plentiful sunshine across the state.

Though Thanksgiving day looks cloudy and quiet, showers are expected in Central New York by Thursday night. Rain changes to snow late night and continues on Friday, a cold and blustery day.
