Lake effect snow continues Thursday night and Friday with breezy westerly winds. Snow squalls are possibly Friday as well, causing brief whiteouts and dropping a quick inch of snow as they blow through.

An Arctic blast expected this weekend; high temperatures are in the teens and nights will be the coldest of the winter thus far.

Additional lake effect snow showers expected Friday night & Saturday before finally shutting off Saturday night. Dry weather is expected Sunday with plenty of sunshine.

Next week, the weather pattern is more quiet. Temperatures won’t warm beyond the 20s all week.
