Isaías Pulls Away, Few Showers Left Over Then Turning Sunny

Few spotty showers Wednesday then turning sunny and dry.

Tuesday, August 4, 2020 (UTICA) – Tropical Storm Isaías pulls away Tuesday night and we start to dry out. Just a few spotty showers are possible Tuesday night and during the first half of the day on Wednesday. Then high pressure builds into the region for the rest of the week leaving us with dry and calm weather. We can expect very comfortable temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 70s.

Friday will be another comfortable day with temperatures reaching the lower 80s but continued dry weather. Moving into the weekend, high pressure continues to stay in control with mostly sunny skies expected both Saturday and Sunday. We will see a warming trend with our temperatures, reaching the mid to upper 80s by Sunday with increased humidity.

High pressure begins to move out of the region towards the early part of next week. This will allow for an increase in shower and thunderstorm chances for the beginning of the week. Heat and humidity will be on the rise. High temps in the upper 80s are expected for Monday and Tuesday.
