Ida brings rain for some Wednesday, quiet & mild weather in its wake

The remnants of Hurricane Ida bring clouds and a chance of rain to the area on Wednesday. Rain is possible mainly south of the Mohawk Valley, with just a chance for a few scattered showers in the greater Utica area and a dry day expected in the North Country.

The remainder of the week looks dry and mild with low humidity and cooler temperatures; nights in the 50s and afternoons in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Labor Day Weekend: Saturday looks like the nicest day with showers possible Saturday night into Sunday and thunderstorms possible Labor Day. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s.
