Heavy Snow & Wintry Mix Monday Night Into Tuesday Morning, More Later This Week

Weather

Heavy snow followed by a wintry mix is expected Monday night into Tuesday morning. Snowfall rates of 1-2″ per hour are possible overnight and visibility will be reduced to 1/2 mile at times. Sleet, freezing rain, and rain mix in late Monday night and Tuesday morning. Icing will make for slippery roads.

A few spotty rain or snow showers possible during the day Tuesday. Late day and Tuesday evening temperatures drop so all lingering showers will be snow. Lake effect snow continues overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Another winter storm will impact the area Thursday into Friday bringing another round of heavy snow and a possible wintry mix. This could lead to another icy start on Friday. In that storms wake, lake effect snow will be possible through Saturday.
