Heat Peaks Wednesday; Returns to Normal Later This Week

Tuesday, September 8, 2020 (UTICA) – Temperatures on Wednesday will run 10-15° above-average for early September. Wednesday night remains mild and muggy with lows in the 60s.

A weak cold front passes through on Thursday. A spot shower is possible but CNY will see more clouds than anything with this front. That sets the stage for a cool night, temperatures fall into the 40s and low 50s.

Friday will be a cooler day, highs in the upper 60s to low 70s with plentiful sunshine. Temperatures top out in the lower 60s this upcoming weekend as well. Showers are expected for Sunday.
