Low temperatures for Friday night will be below zero across the board. These cold temperatures paired with the winds will allow for wind chills close to 20 degrees below zero here in Utica and by Saturday morning, 28 degrees below zero. Wind chills close to 40 degrees below zero expected in the North Country. With these dangerously low wind chills, a wind chill warning is in effect 7pm friday night into 1 pm saturday across CNY.

Mostly sunny are expected Saturday Morning with some clouds during the afternoon though it clears up by the evening. Clear skies will continue throughout Saturday night into Sunday morning with mostly sunny skies throughout the day there.

Sunday night however, we have a winter storm watch across CNY from Sunday night into Monday because of a system moving through, bringing mainly snow showers with some ice possible as well. We can expect about 4-8 inches as of now, with that possibility of ice, though snow totals are subject to change. We will be providing updates throughout the weekend on cnyhomepage.com/weather. Stay tuned on our website over the weekend to see all updates.
