Few more mild days, cooling down again Friday

Wednesday will be another mild fall day in Central New York with temperatures nearing 70° in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Thursday will also be mild in between a warm front and a cold front, temperatures will likely reach the low 70s in the afternoon. Though much of Thursday may end up dry, showers are possible in the morning and again in the evening.

A cold front Thursday evening will lead to showers and possibly a rumble of thunder as it rolls through. In its wake, temperatures will struggle to rise on Friday with cold air pouring in. Highs will only be in the 40s to low 50s at best.

The weekend ahead will be chilly, falling into the 30s at night with a few rounds of scattered showers. Temperatures remain cooler than normal early next week.
