Cool and quiet week ahead, frost watch begins

A cold front passing through New York will bring some scattered showers to the area Monday night and Tuesday morning. After that, the pattern is cool and quiet for the remainder of the workweek. High temperatures are largely in the 60s with the exception of Thursday (50s) which will be the coolest day of the week.

Some cold nights are expected this week with temperatures falling into the 40s and 30s. Frost may be possible outside of the Mohawk Valley, the first of the season for most. The best chance for frost outside the Valley will be Thursday night.
