Cold Monday Night, Smokey Skies Tuesday


Frost advisories and freeze warnings are in effect for parts of Central New York Monday night as temperatures fall into the 30s. Sunshine continues on Tuesday but with a hazy sky thanks to smoke from western wildfires.

Temperatures approach 80 degrees on Wednesday ahead of a weak cold front expected sometime Thursday. Unusually cold temperatures are expected for Friday & the final weekend of summer. Fall officially begins next Tuesday, 9/22.
