Cold Day Tuesday Ahead of Wednesday Morning’s Snow

Monday night’s lake effect snow showers will gradually come to an end Tuesday morning. A quiet, but chilly afternoon is expected with some partial clearing. Clouds thicken up again, however, on Tuesday evening as our next storm approaches.

A passing front will bring another round of snow to Central New York Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning (4-7 AM). Many will see a fresh blanket of snow Wednesday morning (~1″), most of which will be melted by the end of the day. Scattered rain showers then move in late Wednesday afternoon/evening and continue into the night.

Thanksgiving will be nice and mild with a high of 50° in Utica. Just a few scattered rain showers expected & some sunshine in the afternoon.
