We have a winter weather advisory in effect until 7am Wednesday mornig. This is for Otsego County and we’re expecting a wintry mix of snow and ice so make sure you give yourself a little extra time before heading out tonight or for your morning commute Wednesday because we will have hazardous road conditions. In terms of snowfall Tuesday night, we’re looking at a trace to an inch here in Utica and the North Country with one to two inches in Otsego County and the added possibility of seeing some ice from freezing rain.
Low temperatures will be in the low 30s through 20s in the North Country with highs in the 30s. Cloudy skies are expected for Wednesday with clouds sticking around through the night into Thursday morning as well. We do have some rain and snow showers moving through in the late afternoon and evening hours.
