Chilly, Breezy Conditions Continue with Lake Effect Snow


Temperatures fall into the 20s and low 30s on Monday night under mostly cloudy skies. Lake effect snow in the North Country will slowly shift south throughout the night, dropping 0.5-1″ of snow as it does so.

A band of snow is expected in the Mohawk Valley during the morning commute on Tuesday. Then the band shifts slightly south in the afternoon.

Snow continues off and on into Tuesday night before winding down Wednesday morning. Partial clearing is expected Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures top out in the upper 30s on Tuesday, fall to the teens Tuesday night and only rise to the low 30s on Wednesday afternoon.

Weather is quiet from Wednesday afternoon through Saturday; turning more mild by Friday (mid-50s).
