CENTRAL NEW YORK (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Wind chill warnings and advisories are in effect across Central New York from 1-10AM on Tuesday, January 11th. Wind chill, or ‘feels like’ temperatures will range from -5° to -35° early Tuesday morning. Limit time outside as frostbite is possible in 10-30 minutes under these conditions. High temperatures on Tuesday afternoon are only in the single digits.

Some moderation is expected mid-week with temperatures reaching the 30s on Wednesday and Thursday. For Friday however, another Artic blast means high temperatures are only in the teens and single digits (and the same is true of Saturday).

Chances for snow this week are minor with a very slight chance for flurries Wednesday and a chance for some light snow showers on Thursday.
