After Record-Setting Heat On Friday, A Cooler and Wetter Pattern Settles In Next Week

After record-shattering heat on Friday, we will experience a 30+ degree temperature drop heading into Saturday. Temperatures start in the 50’s and fall through the 40’s during the day. Most of the area will bottom out in the 20’s Saturday night.

The cooler air stays with us for next week with 50’s expected for Monday through Thursday. We will see several rounds of rain and even the chance for a changeover to wet snow in higher elevations north of Utica Monday night. This would happen as cooler air pours in behind the low pressure system.

Even cooler air moves in to end next week and into Halloween weekend with highs likely stuck in the 30’s and 40’s regionwide.
