After Last Frosty Night, 60s with Showers to End the Week


Showers move in Thursday evening and continue off and on through Friday evening.

Wednesday, May 13, 2020 (UTICA) – Temperatures fall into the mid 20s to low 30s on Wednesday night, likely our last frosty night of the season. Temperatures will be much more seasonable starting Thursday with highs in the 60s and nights in the 40s and 50s.

Clouds gradually increase Thursday ahead of an approaching warm front. Scattered showers will arrive in Central New York Thursday evening and continue into the night.

Friday turns humid as dew points climb to around 60°. Scattered showers continue and thunderstorms will be possible late Friday afternoon and Friday evening.

This weekend offers mild temperatures with highs around 70°. Saturday features mainly dry conditions then more showers move in for Saturday night and Sunday. Some thunderstorms may mix in late Sunday.
