Active Weather Pattern This Week, February Thaw


Another round of snow is expected to pass through Central New York midday Tuesday. Generally 1-2″ of snow expected. Rain may mix in the valleys due to afternoon temperatures reaching the mid-30s. Breezy conditions expected with winds shifting from SE to W, blowing at 5 to 20 miles per hour.

Scattered lake effect snow continues on Tuesday night, winding down by Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be a breezy and relatively mild day with highs in the 40s. Some scattered showers possible later afternoon & evening.

Thursday is expected to be a windy day with partial sunshine and a chance for some scattered lake snow.
