Saturday begins mostly sunny and warm, temperatures will reach the low to mid 70’s as a warm front crosses the Mohawk Valley early Saturday morning. A cold front will then sweep through during the afternoon and evening bringing the possibility for severe weather.
Showers and thunderstorms will develop in the North Country after lunchtime, the showers and thunderstorms quickly move south reaching the Utica-Rome area by dinnertime. Showers begin to dissipate as they head into Otsego County during the evening. Damaging winds and hail are the primary concerns.
Sunday will feature pleasant but cooler weather in the 60’s. We will see increasing clouds ahead of the remnants of Hurricane Delta. Rain from Delta will be with us throughout the majority of Monday. Rain stays on the light to moderate side.
