A cold front dropping from the north will bring showers to the area Thursday night and into Friday as the cold front slowly makes its way across the area. The storms are not expected to be severe.
The holiday weekend looks hot and humid with temperatures in the upper 80’s to around 90 but it will stay mainly dry. A stray shower cannot be ruled out in the evening.
Heat and humidity continues to build next week, with temperatures reaching at least 90 degrees almost everyday. Shower chances stay low through mid-week but increasing towards the end of the week.
