Dry and Hot Fourth of July Weekend, Oppressive Heat Next Week

Weather Forecasts

Showers are winding down across the Mohawk Valley this Friday evening. Clearing is expected headed into tonight with mostly sunny skies for much of the weekend. Upper 80’s to around 90 degrees are expected both Saturday and Sunday.

The heat continues to build next week. We start off Monday around 90 degrees. Low 90’s are expected for both Tuesday and Wednesday. The humidity increases throughout the week and will be oppressive by midweek.

Rain chances increase Wednesday which is our only hope for some relief from the heat. Temperatures will be in the mid 90’s by Friday. Triple digit heat indices are possible with humidity factored in.
