Wildfire Smoke Keeps Central New York’s Skies Hazy

Uncategorized

Sunshine continues on Wednesday but skies will once again be hazy due to wildfire smoke between 10,000 and 15,000′ in the air. It will be the warmest day of the week with high temperatures in the 70s.

A weak cold front will push through on Thursday. It will have very little moisture to work with so shower chances are minimal. It will help to clear out the majority of the smoke. Blue skies should return by Friday.

Unusually cold temperatures are expected for Friday & the final weekend of summer. High temperatures in the low 60s and nights in the 30s. Fall officially begins next Tuesday, 9/22.
