A Rome man is facing two felony charges for promoting childpornography, police say. Officials seized computers, cell phones, computer datastorage devices and other computer related items while police searched thehome.
50-year-old Steven Garmany of Batavia Avenue is charged withtwo counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance of a Child.
The investigation is still on-going and Garmany may facemore charges in the future. Garmany was arraigned in Rome City Court and isbeing held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
