WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Whitesboro High School quarterback Kyle Meier announced his commitment to Division One Dartmouth College on Tuesday, choosing the Big Green among other Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) offers including the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and Sacred Heart, a program coached by Whitesboro alumni Mark Nofri. There were also rumors that Syracuse University may have been interested in the class of 2024 quarterback, but the Orange never made him an official scholarship offer.

Meier threw for over 1,000 yards and ran for an additional 2,270, contributing to 42 touchdowns in 2022 including 9 in Whitesboro’s high scoring affair with Proctor that they lost 62-60.

Dartmouth is coming off of a 3-7 season in 2022, but the year prior finished 9-1 with three wins of ranked teams, also receiving a #23 ranking themselves in the final poll of the season.
