Last Year’s Record: 3-6. The Express lost three out of their first four games, including a season-opening shutout by VVS and a 39-20 loss to rival Camden. They bounced back to a 3-4 record in the middle of the season, which included a 59-0 win over winless Cortland in October. The forward momentum would not last, though, as the Express lost their last two, including a 46-0 shutout in their Week Two rematch against eventual sectional champion Homer in the sectional quarterfinals.

Departing Seniors: Graduated 11 including Cole Meyers, Mark Shlotzhauer, Hayden Freebern, Landen Fox, and Thomas Lacy
Big Games: The end of September and the beginning of October provide big tests for Oneida as they start with a big test against Class B powerhouse New Hartford on September 29. The Express will then face off against rivals VVS and Camden in consecutive weeks, traveling to Sheveron Stadium on October 6 before hosting the Blue Devils on October 13. The Express’ sectional rematch against the Homer Trojans will be on September 8 in Oneida.
