NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) –

New Hartford Spartans

Head Coach: Jim Kramer

Last Year’s Record: 6-4 as a member of Class A. The Spartans won three of their first four games, outscoring their opponents 143-50 while also beating Class AA Rome Free Academy. Their only loss in that span was a one-point loss to eventual Class A champion West Genesee. However, the Spartans would stumble down the stretch, losing two out of their last four games, including a 38-13 loss to rival Whitesboro and a 13-7 loss to Corcoran. New Hartford avenged that loss to the Cougars two weeks later in the playoffs but fell to top-seeded Fayetteville-Manlius in the semifinals.
